Steven grows tomato, soybean, maize, bananas, kale, bean, and other crops on his 2 acre farm, where he lives with his wife, his 3 children, his brother's child, and an orphan. Major diseases that have affected his crops include soybean rust, bacterial wilt of tomato, maize streak virus and Striga, bean rust and sweet potato virus.
